"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~ Jeremiah 29:11
I am stepping out on faith! God is doing something in my life. I began this blog when I arrived at Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) in NJ. Now, I am an "old married lady" living in Brooklyn believing that God has great things in store for my future. These are my thoughts...pray for me and lets watch as my DESTINY UNFOLDS.
SLEEP (Does it exist) ... Life now consists of naps
Lawd, Lawd, Lawd. I stretch my hand to thee. I have been engaging in this semester 17 days now total (13 school days) and have not gone to bed one night before 2:00 AM. I guess a lack of sleep comes with the call, hugh. Jesus keep me away. Help me to retain!
The work hours of a seminary student 6:30 AM – 2:00 AM. This is more than a job, it must be a calling!
I am a young woman in pursuit of her God given destiny. It is an interesting road to travel. I don't have it all together and a lot to learn. Step by step and day by day I keep pushing on. These are my thoughts about life, love, the Word and the world.
Courtney, Self care is one of the most important skills, disicplines, and devotions we can learn as we walk out our calling to ministry.
Pray for balance. Get some sleep!
Love Vinnetta
